After arrival at the International airport of Rio de Janeiro, our English speaking guide welcomes you (with name board) and leads you to the car/microvan for the transfer to your hotel. During this 45-minutes drive he will give you the first introduction to this marvellous city and at the hotel he will assist you with check-in, if necessary. Rest of the day at leisure.

After breakfast your guide will pick you up at the hotel at 09.00AM for a full day private city tour. This is an excellent way to see the best of Rio if time is limited. In only one day you will visit the highlights of Rio including the Corcovado and Sugar Loaf Mountain. In the morning you will visit the 38 meter high statue of Christ the Redeemer, which was completed on 12 October 1931 on top of the Corcovado mountain (710 m. high) taking the cog train through the rainforest. Enjoy the spectacular and breath-taking views of Rio and the surrounding countryside below you. After the morning tour, relax and enjoy lunch at a typical Brazilian barbecue restaurant (included). In the afternoon, your guide brings you to the Sugar Loaf Mountain, driving by downtown Rio, with its fine colonial-style portuguese buildings, and continuing on to the cable car at Praia Vermelha ( red beach ). A ride to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain gives the visitor a wonderful view of the city nestling between the mountains and the sea, and the sight of the sun going down over Copacabana beach is magical. After riding down the cable car, your guide will drop you off at the hotel. Evening at leisure. (B,L)

After breakfast transfer to the airport of Rio de Janeiro in time for your domestic flight to Foz do Iguaçu. On your arrivel at Iguassu our English speaking guide will welcome you (with name-board), you will be assisted with your luggage, followed by transfer to Hotel San Rafael ****. Rest of the day at leisure. (B).

After breakfast your guide will pick you up at the hotel for a visit to the Brazilian site of the magnificient Iguaçu Falls. Following the walkways that border the canyon of the Iguassu River. It is possible to observe hundreds of small waterfalls until where the last fall Floriano Falls is reached. There, a complete frontal view of Devils Throat can be seen. In the afternoon the Macuco jungle ride followed by a spectacular boat trip, an open wagon pulled by a jeep goes through the jungle for 3 Kilometers, accompanied by a specialized guide who will provide interesting information about the ecology of the region. Tour continues on foot to the banks of the Iguassu River, where a specially equipped motor launch takes you as close as possible to the waterfalls, providing a thrilling adventure and unique view of the falls. Return to the hotel mid-afternoon and the rest of the day is at leisure. (B).

After breakfast transportation and guided tour to the Argentine side of the falls. Leaving the Brazil/Argentina border, getting in Argentina through the Tancredo Neves bridge, built on the Iguassu River. Trails through the 55.500 hectares reserve (30 km far from the Hotel)
provide the pleasure of a different, more complete view of the falls, specially the biggest one, the devil’s Throat. Lower and upper walkways permit a closer look at the waterfalls. Return to the hotel mid-afternoon and the rest of the day is at leisure. (B)

IAfter breakfast transfer to the airport of Foz do Iguaçu in time for your domestic flight to Manaus. Pick up in Manaus and transfer to the Amazonat Jungle Lodge, reception and accommodation in one of the chalets. Activity: Walk in and around the lodge, followed with a jungle night trek (known as the spider trek) later that evening to search for giant spiders. (B,D)

| Full day in the Urubu river with a planned visit to an Igapo, sail through a real unspoiled landscape where the visitor will obtain knowledge about the beauty of a typical black water river with a visit to a native caboclo family and their manioc plantage, some swimming, fishing and this day will be completed with a panoramic sunset trip. |

Full day jungle hike with explanations of the fragile eco environment, navigating and survival techniques. The coming night can be spent in one of our basic campsites to experience the jungle by night.

Full day in the Amazon River where you will learn about the natural wealth this river gives to this location; we visit a local sugarcane and pineapple plantage, pass by a floating supermarket for this community, observe a local Meeting of the Waters with the presence of grey and pink dolphins all year round, bird observation, visit a field with the giant water lilies "Vitoria Regia" and go fishing for the famous piranhas. The return trip is initiated with a sunset view of the Amazon, followed with alligator spotting.

After breakfast check-out followed by the transfer back to Manaus-city. Here we will make a short (outside) visit to the famous Amazon Theater and a boattrip to the unique Meeting of the Waters where the brown water of the Solimões river meets the black water of the Negro River. Around midday transfer to the International Airport of Manaus in time for your domestif flight to Salvador. After arrival at the International Airport of Salvador, our English-speaking guide will welcome you, assist you with your luggage and take care of the transfer to Grande Hotel da Barra***. Rest of the day at leisure.

After breakfast your guide will pick you up at the hotel for a half-day historical city tour. Starting in the modern suburb of Barra at the mouth of the Bay with its famous lighthouse and followed by visits to the Pelourinho area with the largest and the best preserved complex colonial architecture in the Americas, the church of S. Francisco with its exuberant gold-leafed Baroque interior and the Pelourinho square, the heart of the old town. Back to the hotel before lunch-time. Rest of the day at leisure. (B)
