Most unusual for Mauritius, is the romantic 'wild beach' where ocean waves tumble gently onto the beach through a break in the protective coral reef surrounding the island.
Two other beaches overlook the calm turquoise lagoon.

The sumptuous accommodation reflects the exquisite scenery. Each interior features delicately sculpted woodwork and restful colours, creating a peaceful, spacious ambience.
From Superior Rooms and Family Apartments, to Senior or Presidential Suites, all rooms are sea-facing with private balcony or terrace and no room is far from the sea.

Shandrani is set in a protected marine park, so water sports are outstanding.
Snorkelling is at its most rewarding in the abundant waters of Blue Bay Marine Park in front of the Shandrani. Those who enjoy water sports can opt for complimentary water-skiing, sailing (Optimists, Lasers, Hobiecats), windsurfing, snorkelling, kayaking (singles, doubles and seascope), pedalos and glass bottom boat trips.
